Welcome to Granny's Schoolhouse, the "Rolls Royce" of daycare in Louisburg,
Kansas. Granny's Schoolhouse is fully accredited and licensed. We specialize in the care of infants, preschool, pre-kindergarten,
and elementary students up to the age of 12.
Granny's Schoolhouse is:
- Opened Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Located behind Price Chopper. (Just East of the K-68 and US-69 intersection.)
- Nestled on a beautifully landscaped acre.
- A 10,000
square feet building.
- Fully monitored with a security system that includes
fire, intruder, medical, and sprinkler alarms.
- Constantly monitored with twenty-four
high definition, night vision, sound capable video cameras.
- Equipped with a
room to room intercom system.
The exterior of Granny's Schoolhouse was built to resemble an old-fashioned schoolhouse.
It is complete with a bell tower. One step inside and you certainly know that this is a state-of-the-art facility. The cheery
interior features separate classrooms for each age group. A glass window corridor down the center hall provides
visibility to all classrooms. For maximum learning experience all classrooms are self contained. Each
classroom has two bathrooms, a water fountain, and an art sink. Doors from the classrooms lead directly to
each of the three fenced-in areas where children have the opportunity to play and explore with others of their own age group.
Each of the playgrounds has its own water fountain. Once outside, the children delight at the trike trail, the old-fashioned
grocery store, teeter-totters, slides, climbing forts, and lots of open space for adventure.
